This project involved the construction of a contemporary split-level dwelling designed specifically to suit difficult ground conditions on site. The natural slope and poor bearing capacity of the ground required careful planning and engineering to achieve a durable and stable build.

Extensive groundworks were completed prior to construction, including excavation, installation of reinforced concrete retaining walls. The split-level design allowed us to maximise usable floor space while working with the existing site contours, reducing the need for excessive excavation and ensuring efficient drainage.

This finished A rated home included precast stairs and flooring, a full height vaulted ceiling in the living area, underfloor heating throughout, an air to water heat pump and provisions for solar panels for future installation.
